How To Become a WAOW Member

Who is Eligible? • Women artists and artists who draw, paint, or sculpt in traditional media. (No photography/digital, mosaic, glass art, computer, or fabric art, weaving, quilting, found object sculptures will be accepted) • Age: 18 years of age and older. Your work is juried by a panel from membership with the Board of Directors.

How to Become a Member

Fill out the “APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP” below.

It will be sent to our Jury Process Administrator, Margaret Drake.  Then make sure you pay your processing fee of $35 via the PayPal button below:

Features and Benefits of WAOW Membership: • Eligible to apply for the annual National Exhibition, online shows, plein air paint-outs and virtual gallery; • One National exhibition per year (in 2023 WAOW will be exhibiting at The Carriage Factory Art Gallery, Newton, Kansas; 2024 Phippen Museum in Prescott Az and Woolaroc in Bartlesville, OK; 2025 the Customs House Museum in Clarksville, TN); • Free WAOW website member directory listing and link to your professional artist website; • Access to a private Facebook group for networking and support by and with fellow WAOW members and opportunity to have awards and other art news promoted through WAOW’s social media outlets; • Portfolio and peer mentoring review opportunities with Signature and Master-Signature

Members: • Virtual and in-person workshops on continuing education, best practices, business development and more. List your workshops on the WAOW’s website ($15 fee) • Eligibility for WAOW’s committee appointments and positions on the board of directors; • WAOW Special pricing on ad rates with art publications.

Dues $85/year for Associate Level. You are not considered a full member until initial dues are paid from then on you will be billed annually in November. Dues are not pro-rated for mid-year memberships. You can pay your dues via PayPal on waow.org or send a check to our bookkeeper.

How to Get the Most From Your Membership

Get involved, get involved, and get involved! Volunteer in any way you can in WAOW. Join in on the online conversations. Take advantage of WAOW online presence opportunities such as online shows or submitting news to our Facebook Head. There are so many valuables in this organization. Go for the gold!
