To promote art by women successfully, you must have wonderful work to promote. An art group cannot be everything to everybody. WAOW bylaws request that our 2D members paintings be executed in - but not limited to - the mediums oil, acrylic, watercolor, casein, tempera, and pastel. 3D, sculpture, is to be executed in - but not limited to - the mediums of wood, metal, stone and clay.
The Board of Directors makes the final definition as to subject, medium, originality and suitability of work submitted for jurying.
Note: It takes a village to make an art organization run smoothy and successfully. We request that a woman planning to apply has the mindset of a team player, has access to email and has her own professional art website. As in many aspects of life, membership in WAOW gives back according to effort expended.

You will be notified of the jury decision within two to three weeks of the close of the membership calls, depending on which quarter you submit your application in:
January to March 30
April to June 30
July to September 30
October to December 31
If you are accepted into WAOW, you are not a full associate until you have paid your dues. For dues Payment Options once accepted, See below.

You may pay your dues by check to the accountant or by the PayPal button below.
If you are juried in in the Spring call, you will pay dues for the current year. If juried in in the Fall, your dues will be for the following year. After the initial year everyone is billed annually in November.
